The Evolution of Early Warning Detection

Closing the gaps in the market with innovation and quality.

Because when the priority is protecting the continuity of your business operations, waiting on passive smoke detection is simply not enough. The NFPA 75 and 76 regulations recommend the use of early warning aspirating smoke detectors to protect critical areas.

Early Warning Aspirating Smoke Detection

Aspiration detectors trigger alarms in the early stages or fire development, much before the fire starts. This allows us to act proactively and avoid having to react and control a potential fire. The time graph below shows the detection and control stages of fire protection.

Early warning smoke detectors function by actively aspirating and sampling the air in an enclosure, whereas passive photoelectric detectors must wait for the smoke to reach them. Beside the active nature of the detection, our aspirating detectors are on average 8,000× times more sensitive than a conventional detector.

AVA Aspirating Detectors

AVA detectors are the most advanced and precise aspirating smoke detectors currently on the market. with a huge range of solutions aimed at the effective protection of any size space.

With twice the sensitivity as the leading competitor, AVA brings more than just precision to the world of early warning smoke detection. All AVA detectors come with an Artificial Intelligence auto-learning algorithm that adjusts the behavior of the system based on its environment. They bring integrated temperature, humidity, and monoxide sensors to monitor a broader risk profile to ensure your operational continuity. AVA is the true evolution of the aspirating smoke detectors.

Designed for Suppression Release

The AVA Cupid is the only early warning aspirating smoke detector in the market specifically designed for the control and activation of suppression systems in critical areas. The Cupid HM2 employs two completely independent detections chambers, each with its own sensor and aspirator, to  create 2 distinct detections zones. This allows us to leverage a true crossed zone detection strategy to control suppression release, giving us the benefits of ultra early warning smoke detection but the reliability and control or crossed zone detection. Just liek the CSD detector, the Cupid also has integrated temperature and humidity sensors. This is crucial to provide a truly comprehensive protection profile for critical areas.

  • 2 fully independent detection sensors for crossed zone detection & suppression control

  • Artificial Intelligence driven auto-learning algorithm

  • High detection sensitivity ( 0.005 % obs/ ft)

  • Independent Temperature, Humidity, and Monoxide sensors per pipe

  • Seamless integration with suppression cylinders for direct activation

  • Coverage areas of (HM1: 1000m2 / HM2: 2000m2)

  • 4 output relays and 2 GPI input relay

  • Remote display unit available

The AVA FANFARE is the first real multi-zone early warning aspiration detector for protecting large and very large enclosures.  This detector was designed with large enclosures in mind. Engineering for the protection of spaces where traditional detection is difficult to install and maintain. The focus is to bring early warning smoke detection technology out of its traditional uses, such as data centers, into other critical infrastructure like airports, malls, and warehouses. The FANFARE ranges from 4 to 8 fully separate and independent zones, each equipped with its own sensor chamber, aspirator, and monitoring display.
